Ms Saima Dawar has successfully defended her MScN thesis at the Aga Khan University School of Nursing and Midwifery (AKUSONAM), Karachi on 11th October 2018.

The title of her thesis was "Perceived barriers contributing to non-compliance among dialysis patients at a private tertiary care hospital Karachi, Pakistan: a qualitative exploratory study".

The Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC) has introduced a new uniform dress code for nurses working in clinical settings across the country. Recently, the examination has been abolished by PNC due to some understandable reasons. Some people are of the view that PNC licensure examination for GBSN is unjust and unnecessary. Their perspective is based on the following arguments: When there are university exams then we do not need to appear for an extra exam.
