Association for Mothers And Newborns (AMAN) celebrated World Contraceptive Day at Move n Pick Ballroom on 26/09/24.

This "accredited event contained 2-Credit CME on "How to use WHO MEC Wheel" facilitated by Professor Sadia Paul, Professor Razia Korejo, Dr. Luna Vellozo and others. It was participated by Medical, Nursing & Midwifery professionals across Metropolitan City.

The Association of Newborns took collaborative initiative by integrating Midwifery Association(MAP) and Nursing Midwifery Leaders from DUHS & Colleges of Nursing.

The other presentations included, " Myths & Misconception about Family Planning Method", and " The Best Contraceptive Methods"

Along with renowned Midwifery leaders Ms. Rubina Shar & Ms. Zubeda Bhutto, the NICH Nursing College rising leader Ms. Shabana Wazir, Ms. Sumera Sardar and Ms Shakeela Laghari represented the Midwifery Association of Pakistan.

Expressing their views Nursing & Midwifery leaders Ms. Shabana Wazir, Ms. Zubeda Bhutto & Ms. Rubina Shar appreciated AMAN for their integration and collaboration with medical community in such a global standard CNE/CME.

This blended academic event also included impressive video presentation of "Ba Khabar Naojawan" . The entire event was beautifully moderated by Dr. Marium.

The Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC) has introduced a new uniform dress code for nurses working in clinical settings across the country. The announcement, in an official letter from the PNMC dated January 31, 2024, stated guidance about professional attire of nursing staff in Pakistan.
