      Dear unknown, any jobs announced through Public Service Commissions are on permanent basis. Moreover, the other jobs on this page are also permanent.

Press Release: Nursing Midwifery Stakeholders Across Pakistan Make Grand Alliance against Merger of their Council

Press Release The national Icons, Deans, Federations Leaders across Pakistan expressed extreme dismay over proposed merger of Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council(PNMC) with Allied Health Professional Council(AHPC) in the name of the rightsizing move of the Federal Government. Difference Between Post-RN BScN & Generic BSN (Updated 2023)

Are you confused about the terms BSN, BScN, Generic BSN, Post-RN, BS Nursing, and BSc Nursing? We receive many questions about these terms at PKN. New Nurses Uniform by Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council (January 2024)

The Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC) has introduced a new uniform dress code for nurses working in clinical settings across the country. The announcement, in an official letter from the PNMC dated January 31, 2024, stated guidance about professional attire of nursing staff in Pakistan. The new dress code approved during the 6th session of the council held from January 15-17, 2024, under the leadership of Ms. Farzana Zulfiger, President of PNMC, specifies new uniforms for male and female nurses. Female nurses are to wear a dark blue shalwar kameez with a nameplate, accompanied by a white coat and a blue scarf/dupatta. Male nurses are required to wear dark blue scrubs along with a nameplate. Asia's First Strategic Meeting Makes History: Midwifery Leaders Unite in Islamabad

By Shabbir Hussain Jhatial The Midwives Alliance of Asia (MAA)  holds its first-ever Strategic Directions Meeting in Islamabad under hosting of Aga Khan University School of Nursing & Midwifery (AKU-SONAM) and Midwifery Association of Pakistan(MAP). Dean AKU-SONAM  Dr. Salimah Walani, spoke as Guest of Honor in preliminary session while  Dr. Rafat Jan, Associate Dean of Outreach & Policy at AKU-SONAM and President of the MAP , led this South to South  initiative  in three-day-long consultative session. Multidisciplinary Exhibition on Nursing-Pharmacy Integrated Care

Unprecedented Unity: How Nursing Leaders Defending Our Identity in Crisis

Though the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council (PN&MC) has been facing unending crises for years, but the merger with Allied Health Professionals (AHPC) rose as an existential threat to our identity.
