Pioneering Nursing Excellence: Sindh's NICH and SICHN Lead the Way

In continuation of the multiple initiatives taken by Health Minister Dr. Azra Fazal Pechu, the National Institute of Child Health (NICH) Karachi's Executive Director Doctor Prof. Nasir Saddal & E.D of Sindh Institute of Child Health & Neonatology (SICHN) Dr.Prof. Jamal Raza held an strategic meeting with Parliamentary Secretary of Sindh Assembly (H) Ms. Nidda Nisar Khuhro & Dir (Dev) Health Department Dr. Dabeer Ahmed Khan to chalk out a plan to develop advance ly skilled Nursing Force by establishing two institutes: one at NICH College of Nursing and another at College of Nursing Korangi.

After the brain storming session the distinguished leaders endorsed in principle inputs of principals of both Nursing Colleges i.e. NICH & Korangi Ms Shabana Wazir Solangi & Mr. Shabir Hussain Jhatial the feasibility who were called for brief and prospect from nursing aspects.

The learned heads of institutions and government officials assigned both Principals to furnish a feasibility report within 30 days to implement Minister's special focuss on developing matching nursing professionals to complement with par excellence medical experts.

It was endorsed that for more effective health care delivery for general public of Sindh and of sister provinces that come to both intuitions for relief the more developed nursing experts are need of the time and of the future.
