The Five-Day UNFPA-APPROV Faculty Development Modules' Masters Training Session was conducted with the aim to enhance faculty development to be involved in the BS-Midwifery Program in near future. The Program was attended by 25-Senior faculty from across the four provinces, GB and AJK from May,19-23 with the assistance of Burnet Institute Australia.

Facilitated by the HSA -Islamabad, this major national initiative program got collaboration from the Federal Ministry of Health, UNFPA and PN&MC as well.
Foreseeing the gap in Midwifery faculty for impending BS-Midwifery Program initiative, the Burnet Institute intends to further this training program through the Masters Trainers who got trained in May, 19-23 Session.

The training was conducted online by Ms.Jane Raymond, Ms.Brunet and their team (Astralia) while the facilitators Mdwifery experts ncluded: Zubeda Bhutto (DUHS PhD Scholar-HSA), Ms.Nosheen HSA and Ms.Elizabeth from PIMS with administrative support of Dr. Maryam Dean Midwifery Program HSA and Ms. Naila Yasmin of UNFPA.
Twenty Five participants from across Pakistan were kept engaged in extensive education and provided relevant materials thereof. According to organizers the session was well taken by participants in a learner friendly environment. The participats and facilitators were happy to recieve certificates of global training modules.
