1st Nationwide Nurses and Midwives Day by PNC

For the first time in the history of Pakistan, the Pskistan Nursing Council (PNC) has planned to celebrate a Nationwide Nurses and Midwives Day.

Topic :

NURSES: A VOICE TO LEAD HEALTH FOR ALL MIDWIVES: DEFENDER OF WOMENS’ RIGHT

Objectives  

• To reflect on the contribution of Nurses and Midwives to the profession and health care systems, organizations and institutions they serve.
• To exhibit the impact of nurses and midwives on Maternal and Child Health Care.
• To extend collaboration with Nursing and Midwifery regulatory and professional education bodies, associations and NGOs to continue to make a difference in the profession within Pakistan.
• To acknowledge Midwives, Nurses and their services and build the future directions.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS & SUCCESS STORIES:

Submission Guidelines

All abstracts must include:  

Title

Maximum 125 characters

Author  

Full name, email address and affiliation(s) are mandatory for each author. Indicate the presenting author for the abstract.

Body of abstract

Maximum 300 words (authors and title not included)

Abstract must be structured as follows:

• Background: study objectives and problem statement. 
• Methods: method used, or approach taken.
• Results Present in summarised form, must include data and/or substantial information about results, but do not include tables, graphs or pictures.
• Conclusion Description of main outcomes of the study. Include knowledge or insight that participants will gain from the presentation, and an explanation of how participants can apply the skills and/or knowledge within their communities.

All submissions must be made online by June 15, 2019.

Confirmation of receipt & notification of decision:

• All abstracts will be reviewed, scored and accepted or rejected by the Scientific Committee. The Committee reserves the right to determine whether an abstract submission is accepted as an oral presentation or poster. The decision of the Committee is final. 
• You will receive email confirmation that your abstract has been received, indicating the allocated abstract number.
• After the review by the Scientific and Program Committee, authors will be notified about results by June 30, 2019.
• All information in the abstract submission, including authors’ names, affiliations, and the content of abstract, will be used in the official publications. 
• The contributor carries legal obligations of the abstract; any violation to a third party’s right will be the responsibility of the contributor him/herself.

• Organiser has the copyright to use the abstract for scientific purposes without any prior notice to the contributor/authors.
