Ms Kousar Parveen was a renowned nurse leader who dedicated her life to the nursing profession. She worked as a principal at various nursing institutions in Punjab, Pakistan and also served as the Director General of Nursing in the province. She was a beloved teacher, excellent orator, and a good human being who touched the lives of many in the nursing community.
Her colleagues and fellow nursing professionals remember her as a hardworking and committed fighter for the nursing and midwifery profession. She was a mentor, critic, and guide to many, and her contributions to the profession will be remembered for a long time to come. Many of them have worked closely with her on various initiatives, including the development of PNC regulations and the PN&MC 2022 Amendment ACT.
