Ms Kousar Parveen: A Leader, Teacher, and Friend to the Nursing Community

Ms Kousar Parveen was a renowned nurse leader who dedicated her life to the nursing profession. She worked as a principal at various nursing institutions in Punjab, Pakistan and also served as the Director General of Nursing in the province. She was a beloved teacher, excellent orator, and a good human being who touched the lives of many in the nursing community.

Her colleagues and fellow nursing professionals remember her as a hardworking and committed fighter for the nursing and midwifery profession. She was a mentor, critic, and guide to many, and her contributions to the profession will be remembered for a long time to come. Many of them have worked closely with her on various initiatives, including the development of PNC regulations and the PN&MC 2022 Amendment ACT.

Ms Kousar Parveen was known for her professionalism, kindness, and infectious energy. She had a great sense of humor and was always willing to help her colleagues and students. Her dedication to the profession was unwavering, and she worked tirelessly to improve the quality of nursing education and practice in Pakistan.

Her sudden demise has left a great void in the nursing community, and her colleagues and students will miss her dearly. However, her contributions to the nursing profession will continue to inspire generations of nurses in Pakistan and beyond.

We pray that her soul rests in peace and that her family finds the strength to cope with this great loss. Ms Kousar Parveen will be remembered for her professionalism, commitment, and unwavering dedication to the nursing profession.
