A student-led seminar was organized by the United College of Nursing and Midwifery @ Korangi (UNCM- K) in college's advanced auditorium featuring five groups of final-year students from the Bachelor of Nursing (BNN) program. The first batch inducted in 2021 organized this seminar as an academic requirement of would be passing out students. This showcased the students' research competencies and multi-media presentations skills on various trends and issues relevant to the nursing profession in Pakistan and beyond i.e.
1) "Nurses' Role in Disaster Management" this highlighted the critical role nurses play in responding to disasters and emergencies.
2) "Violence Faced by Nurses": it examining the prevalence and impact of violence against nurses in healthcare settings.
3) "AI in Modern Nursing": This explored the mindbogling applications and implications of artificial intelligence in nursing practice.
4) "Informed Consent" & 5) "Declaration of Bad News" discussing the importance of informed consent and effective communication in delivering bad news to patients.

Each group of 7-8 students presented their research and findings attired in professional dresses, engaging slides and well-organized content delivered in 30 minutes including Q & A time. Each group of the students also presented their scholarly group work in impressively arranged portfolios that showcased their work and the process that they went through.
Chief Evaluators Ms. Afshan Nazli and Shabir Hussain Jhatial provided constructive feedback, highlighting areas of strength and weakness after each groups presentations. Mr. Ghulam Dastagir President PNA and Ms. Fakhrunissa Deputy Director Nursing Sindh also contributed in providing the feed backs . Ms. Nazli praised the students for integrating the evidence-based practice, effective communication, and nursing research. Mr. Shabir Hussain focused his feed back on leadership, management, healthcare policy, and the aspects of interprofessional collaboration
This seminar was supervised by Ms. Naheed Jamal, Mr. Abid Abbasi and other faculty members of UCNM, under the guidance of Trustees Prof. Bilal Faiz and Dr. Danish. Both sons of legendary surgeon Faiz Muhammad, the trustess remained engaged in the Seminar.

The distinguished guests Mr.Ghulam Dastagi from the Pakistan Nurses Association (PNA), Ms.Fakhrunissa, Deputy Director Nursing and the Chief evaluators Ms. Afshan Nazli of Ziauddin University and College of Nursing Korangi were presented Momento Shields on this historic occasion when UCNM is passing out their first batch of batch 2021- BS Nursing inductees.
Tailpiece: The student-led seminar demonstrated the students' academic excellence, research skills, and commitment to the health as partners with other health professionals. It provided an excellent platform for knowledge sharing, professional development and networking among students, faculty and lead healthcare professionals striving to materialize nurses increased roles in health care delivery system.
