    Discrimination with Males

While the decision to offer this program exclusively to female applicants might seem like an act of discrimination against male candidates, it is important to understand the underlying intentions and context. Historically, the nursing profession has been female-dominated, and this initiative could be an effort to maintain or strengthen the presence of women in the field.

However, it is essential to consider that promoting equal opportunities for both genders is crucial to ensuring a balanced and diverse workforce in the healthcare sector. Institutions and organizations should aim to provide equal access to educational and professional opportunities for all, irrespective of gender.

To address this concern, it would be beneficial for the Directorate General of Nursing Services to consider offering similar opportunities to male candidates or opening up the program to both genders in the future. This would not only foster a sense of fairness but also enrich the nursing profession with diverse perspectives and experiences.
