The authors of the document have stressed upon the need to extend the General Nursing Diploma till the year 2035 based on the reasons that are mentioned below. The document was written by two of my favourite nursing professionals. I have enormous respect for both the authors, but with utmost respect, I would beg to differ with them on the basis of the rationales that are given in the yellow cells in the table below.
